There is no doubt about it. Fosters and volunteers are the lifeblood of small rescues. We rely on the kindness of others to keep saving these homeless animals. Below are a couple of ways you can help us in our mission. 

BECOME A FOSTER

Palm Beach Purrs is looking for loving foster homes for cats and kittens in need. Perhaps you've been thinking about how you'd like to add a cat or kitten to your family but can't currently adopt one. Or perhaps you already have pets but want a rewarding way to help other animals in need. Either way, fostering is a win-win situation that you may want to consider.

Fostering commitments generally run between 2-8 weeks depending upon the age and health of the animal. You let us know what you can help with and we will make you a purrfect match! We will pay for all the medical needs for your foster, you need only supply the daily care needs and love until your foster is ready to move to their new home!  

BECOME A VOLUNTEER

We have several volunteer opportunities and offer kids community service hours for participation. You can volunteer to come to our headquarters in Jupiter Farms to assist in light cleaning duties in the two kitten rooms, and playing with and socializing the kittens kept there. We ask that a scheduled day and time be made in advance because this is one of our board directors' personal home. 

We also have volunteer opportunities at the two local PetSmart stores with which we partner! You can choose morning or evening slots to come in and assist with light cleaning duties, and play with our kittens who stay there and are awaiting adoption. Children are welcome to participate in this aspect for community service hours, but anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a volunteer who is 18 or over. Our stores are located on Indiantown Rd in Jupiter and Donald Ross Rd in Palm Beach Gardens.
